February Supper Club : Trentino Sud Tirol Menu
Last night I ran my 5th Supper Club and the Italian region was Trentino Alto Adige in north Italy!
MENU
Antipasto – Starter
Vegan Cheese Platter and handmade Pretzels
Served with handmade marmelades
Primo – Main Course
Canederli
Large round boiled Bread Dumpling in broth
Secondo – Second Course
Vegan Wurstel with Potato Pancake
Vienna style vegan sausage and potato pancake
Contorno – Side Dish
Sauerkraut and Apple PureƩ
Fermented cabbage and Apple PureƩ
Dolce – Dessert
Apple Strudel
Served with Wipped Cream
Everything is always Vegan and Freshly Handmade.

Supper #1: Vegan Pizza
Do you like Italian handmade Pizza?
I like making my own pizza every now and then using fresh yeast, fresh tomato sauce, lots of veggies and my favorite vegan cheese!
When I was living in Italy I had to come to London quite often and buy as much vegan cheese as I could. Now that I live in London it's easier and I can buy my cheese every day from the health food shops to cook my dishes.
I must admit that I love pizza without cheese too, but for my first Supper I would like to bake the typical Italian Pizzas and.. Pizza is not Pizza without Mozzarella!
I decided Pizza for the First Supper because usually when you think of Italy and Italians, you say "Pasta" and "Pizza", even if we don't eat pizza every day.
And, I have to say, I'm a bit nervous because everything is completely new and i don't want to complicate my life too much for my first experience; I just need to concentrate on my dough and everything will be fine!
